Distinctive. Timeless. Enduring. The distressed look refers to floors that feature authentic hand scraped rustic visuals and distinctive natural wood characteristics including knots, burls, mineral marks and pinholes. This aged wood look adds authenticity to any decorating style. Pinnacle products exhibiting these characteristics are referred to as "Classics".

     Hand Distressed
     Refers to flooring that has been scraped, distressed and sanded by hand. These floors feature natural characteristics, a      sculpted irregular surface and thus an aged, worn look and usually have softly pillowed edges.

     Machine Distressed
     Refers to flooring that has been distressed and sanded by mechanical means. These floors also feature natural      characteristics and deliver an authentic aged visual, while still providing a smoother and more even surface treatment.
     They usually feature micro-beveled edges.
